Sharing my favorite canning resources & recipes in celebration of National Canning Day.

Did you know there is a special holiday just for canners? National Canning Day is October 23. This year I am celebrating by sharing some of my favorite canning resources and recipes.

Favorite Canning Resources

Ball Blue Book – This is the bible for all things canning. Follow the recipes and procedures in this book and you know you’ll have home canning success.

National Center for Home Food Preservation – The National Center for Home Food Preservation is your source for current research-based recommendations for most methods of home food preservation.

Fillmore Container – Fillmore Container is located in Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania. They are a great resource for canning jars, lids, and accessories.
