What can I make with a bunch of apples?

Most of us eat apples year round.  It’s a relatively inexpensive fruit, and it’s easy to pick up a bag of apples each time you go to the grocery store to have on hand for snacks, adding to salads, or even a quick meal (apples and peanut butter are my favorite breakfast).  But, when the weather turns cooler and the apples are in season locally, you need to take advantage of the wide variety of apples that are out there and how amazing they taste compared to the ones you buy offseason at the mega-mart.

This is the time of year to include apples with everything!  Breakfast.  Lunch.  Dinner.  Dessert.  Snacks.  Even cocktails!  I’ve gathered up my recipes cards, and here are over twenty delicious apple recipes to tempt your taste buds this fall.

I feel the same way! Pumpkins can have November, but September and October belong to the apple.

Great list! I love adding apple slices to my salads (especially chicken salad!). And for us it’s just not fall until we’ve made homemade apple pie. YUM! Pinned.
