If you’d like to schedule a homeschool evaluation, please email me with two preferred dates and times. I’m offering in-person evaluations on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Zoom evaluations on Mondays and Tuesdays. Spots will fill quickly, so be sure to reach out soon!
How much is an Evaluation?
Homeschool Evaluations are $35 per student when held before June 15. I am at summer camp with our Scouts from June 21-27. For the end of June, cost is $45.
I accept cash or credit card payments. Anyone requesting a Zoom evaluation will be invoiced through Square for payment.
What do I need to bring to my evaluation?
- Homeschool Supervisor & Student(s)
- Portfolio showing a few samples per subject. These can be photos, worksheets, class notes, projects, scratch paper, etc. Anything that shows you’ve made progress in a subject over the course of the year.
- Your book list. This should include all curriculum used and any materials for formal learning. This does not have to be exhaustive of all the books/materials you used this year.
- Standardized test scores for students in grades 3, 5, and 8. I recommend the untimed, online CAT from Academic Excellence. The computer is the proctor, so your student can complete their test from home without needing to hire someone to administer the test. I need to see that all of the math and language arts sections were completed and the score. I do not care what the scores are.
When will I get my student’s evaluation letter?
Evaluation letters are given to the parents on the day of the evaluation. You need to submit the evaluation letter to your district by June 30.
Graduating Seniors
Please let me know that your student is graduating when you schedule your final evaluation. In addition to the regular evaluation stuff, I will also need to know how you’d like their name to appear on the diploma.
