Chocolate milk is my favorite. I am definitely going to try the homemade syrup. I have made it a few times before, but I have never found a recipe that came out well. I have been told because I distrub it before it’s completely cool (although I have heard it doesn’t matter either).

    Any tips?

I think the trick is doing only a single batch and really cooking that sugar syrup well so it doesn’t crystalize as it cools. Then whisk in the cocoa until smooth. When I’ve tried to take shortcuts, I end up with a weird texture or it ends up being too thin. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
